You can’t help but to love the quality of this poundo!  It is smooth with no lumps when made and it tastes really, really good!
Put a little quantity at a time in a pot or saucepan, and add some cold water to the mix, stir with a spatula or wooden spoon, until it is smooth, ensuring it is neither too thick nor watery. Put the mix on the cooker and slowly stir while heating until it begins to coagulate and increase in size. Create a well in the middle of the poundo in the pot, adding a little cold water there. Cover pot and allow to simmer for 5-10mins under low heat until thoroughly cooked.

If in a micro-wave, after mixing the poundo flour in a bowl with a little cold water to paste texture, cover the bowl with a cling wrap, put in the microwave for about 5 mins, intermittently bringing  it out, stirring a bit then add a tiny bit of cold water if needed and cook in the microwave for another 2 mins and it’s ready to eat. Eat with egusi or okro soup, or any of your favorite soups.
